I placed a hold on a book to be sent by post, but it has not yet arrived. What should I do?

Please contact the library by email with the item details and your address and we will check our log to see when your post was sent. 

We need to ensure we have your correct address on file, we will generally contact you in advance of sending the item to check this.

Please bear in mind the post is not necessarily sent out on the day the item is checked out: because of covid restrictions library staff are only on campus to process holds 2 days a week. Books are checked and then packaged and logged, so it will likely be the next day before they go in the post. Items coming from the CCAM library need to be transported to the Dublin Road campus in advance, adding an extra day. If we can acertain your item was sent out over working 5 days ago and has not yet arrived we will follow it up with An Post tracking.

If your item is late we will allow renewal to cover the extra time taken and will ensure you are not charged any overdue fines.
