Can I see a record of the books I have taken out from the library?
Answer
Yes, you can see a list of the books you have taken out in your reading history in your library account.
- Log in to your Library Account.
- Click on Your Reading History (box on the left) to see the books you have taken out. The most recent checkout/returns appear at the top. Click on the book you are interested in for more information or to get the citation for referencing it in you assignment. The shelf number is visible on the right if you want to view it or take it out again.
We take great care in protecting your privacy. You can opt out if you do not want a record of your Reading History to be kept.
If you click on Your Privacy box, you can define how long we keep your reading history. Your options are:
- Forever: keep my reading history without limit. This is the option for users who want to keep track of what they are reading.
- Default: keep my reading history according to local laws. This is the default option : the library will keep your reading history for the duration permitted by local laws.
- Never: Delete my reading history immediately. This will delete all record of the item that was checked-out upon check-in.
Your reading history is only available to you and is not visible to library staff when they open your library account.
