Why do I keep getting a error/forbidden message when I try to access anything online via the library website?
Answer
Error messages, including 'Forbidden, you do not have access to this resource' may appear if you:
- Have out of date login details are stored on your device;
- Press the back button after logging into a resource
- Are not in ATU and have used the wrong login credentials (please ensure you are using your ATU email address and network password)
- Try to search from a page that has been open for a long time without activity
- Open multiple links to library resources in new browser tabs without signing in to any of them
- If you are using session urls that are not static (i.e. if you saved a set of results from the library using the address bar and not the permalink)
Sometimes saved information in a browser or an old bookmark can cause these errors.
