Why am I getting an error message when searching the online library?

This does not happen very often and we apologies for the inconvenience, but when it does there are a few things we recommend you try:
- Try accessing the library search through another browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge etc.)
- Try Browsing in private using incognito mode in Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Firefox
- Try clearing the cache and cookies in your browser (changing the date range to at least 7 days)

This issue occurs when the database cannot validate your login credentials. It returns an error screen instead of allowing direct access to a particular title from the library’s collection.
Remove the saved password from your Browser, here’s the instructions for Edge:
- Open the More actions menu (this will appear as three dotted lines in the upper right corner)
- Select Settings
- Type Passwords in the search area on the left
- Type the title of the database (i.e. EBSCO, Springer) in the search passwords area
- Click on the arrow next to the title of the database
- Click Delete (repeat if more than one entry for the database)
- Login to database via the library’s link
