What is Adobe Digital Editions and why do I need it?

Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) is commonly required for downloading EPUB ebook files, and occasionally PDF ebooks.

You need to have the latest version of Digital Editions installed on your PC or mobile device. We recommend that you check which edition you currently have and upgrade to the latest available as soon as possible - see the Adobe Digital Editions page.

If you get an error messages when attempting to download eBooks to Adobe Digital Editions, it is typically a licensing or authorization issue with the eBook. To solve this problem, you need to deauthorize Adobe Digital Editions.

Open Adobe Digital Editions on your computer
Start by pressing the keys [CTRL+Shift+D]
When a pop-up window appears, click "Erase Authorization"
Open or download the eBook that you want. Adobe Digital Editions will the prompt you to authorize your computer
