What's a standard and how do I find one?

Answer

Standards are codes of best practice containing technical specifications and guidelines. They are used to ensure consistency, reliability, and provide a quality benchmark.

The Library provides access to the full text of standards via subscriptions to the following databases:

Standards are not searchable in Search + Find / Eolas.

For more information and access to standards please see our Standards LibGuide.

For some standards, you need to register to download them. To do this click on the logout button (under the person icon in the top right-hand corner) and then click on ‘New Registration’ and fill out the details using your ATU email address. Once registered you will then ‘Log into i2i’ to view the standard.
