Can I access newspapers online?

We have access to the following newspaper sources online:

Irish Newspaper Archive archives regional and national Irish newspapers. This means that you can view the newspapers exactly as they would have appeared in their print version. 

Holdings include: 

  • Connaught Tribune, 1909 - current
  • Irish Examiner, 1841-current
  • Irish Independent, 1905-current
  • Sunday Business Post, 1980-current

 

LexisNexis provides access to full text access to regional, national and international newspapers, business trade journals, company reports and country reports. When you login LexisNexis, the search defaults to Lexis, to search Nexis click on the keypad image in the top left of the page and choose Nexis from the dropdown menu.   • Irish Examiner, August 2007-current
  • Irish Times, June 1992-current
  • Sunday Independent, October 2006-current
  • The Times (UK), July 1985-current
  • The New York Times, June 1980-current
